Model Implementation/Validation (Risk Model) - Manager  Job Description:   For one of our key global clients, we are looking to hire an experienced Team Lead to lead the current engagement in the Validation of Risk models. The key focus will be on validating the implementation (within the IT infrastructure/platforms) of the existing models being used by Business Units on a day to day basis.   There are multiple roles on offer for a team with extremely aggressive growth plans. Specifically, we need a sharp and experienced candidate to lead the entire team.   The role will require the incumbent to contribute hands-on in the validation of implementation of existing models, bring past experience and thought leadership in the area of model implementation / validation, to formally manage and grow the existing team and manage stakeholder relationships, internal and external - including CXO level leadership.   For the Team Lead/Manager we are looking at candidates with the following attributes:   - Total 6 years+ experience in Analytics and Risk Management.   - Prior hands on experience in Model Implementation and/or validation of Model Implementation. Broad understanding of Model Validation/Model Monitoring, of which validation of model implementation is a part.   - Past experience in writing technical documents - like model implementation document, model validation document, etc.   - Broad knowledge about the structure, terminology, etc. of Risk Models.   - Understanding of IT systems/platforms where Risk models are implemented and maintained. Strong coding skills are a plus. So is prior Implementation Testing experience.   - Broad knowledge about the global regulatory landscape as well as Model Validation/Governance guidelines - Basel III, OCC/Federal Reserve, SR 11-7, PRA, etc.   - Prior experience in leading a team - end to end project and delivery management, people management and stakeholder relationship management at extremely senior levels.   - Extremely strong communication skills - written & verbal. Strong leadership, networking, negotiation and influencing skills.   - Self-driven, proactive, - can-do- attitude. Ability to work under ambiguity and with minimal supervision. Ability to lead, mentor and grow the team beyond its current size and scope.   Apart from the Team Lead, at this moment we expect to select experienced multiple candidates who can work as SMEs within the team and who have either (or both) of the following:   - Exposure to model development/validation with good understanding of modeling terms along with strong technical writing skills   - IT systems experience with strong technical writing skills (this primarily to review Implementation testing documents)  They need to be extremely good communicators and to be able to interface with senior leaders from model development, business and validation teams on a day to day basis.
