Manager - Micro Finance & New Age Global Platforms

Skills / Education Needed :

- Basic understanding of Web3 / DeFi (Penchant for Digital Trade & Technology should be there). However, Web3 knowledge is not a necessity but only a preferred skill. Main key skill would be of Nano & Micro Finance in hinterlands of India. We understand that for this role, there may not be a candidate with Web3 knowledge and we are okay for the same as long as the candidate has a Fintech / digital mindset.

- Need to have Microfinance / RURAL Credit & Microfinance background from a small finance bank/ bank / rural focussed fintech or any Credit Co-operative societies. Skills such as evaluation & writing of Credit for bottom of pyramid kirana walas / first time entrepreneurs / farmers / SHGs will be preferred.

- Exposure to digital credit approvals preferred (Digitally approve loans basis data available from various public channels / behaviors/ ecosystem etc)

- Need to understand & have global outlook of MicroFinance / Nano Entrepreneurs not just in India but South east Asia too

- You should have at least 3-4 years of experience (More the merrier)

- Ready to be part of a platform from scratch, setting rules of the Industry by virtue of being early entrant in this future of Lending to a market not targeted by any formal finance

- Should have roamed across India meeting above segment developing relationships & working with lenders who fund such sector

Job Profile:

- Major work would be first developing a platform & then Credit writing for Lowest bottom most pyramid businesses world over / evaluation / approval / Credit Control / Credit Recoveries / Legal enforcement of agreements / Tying up with necessary tech KYT - Fraud analytics etc for integration etc. However since this is a startup you are expected to have an orientation to be generalist as against just being a credit specialist. Role would be region agnostic.

- Need to understand ROSCA / Chit Fund Market in India or world over well

- You would be the Product Manager, responsible to create the solution/platform for MicroFinance alongside the team. You should be able to fix meetings for research across India and also thus willing to travel.

- There may be the administration - finance / legal work / relationship work assigned as well which will lead to immense learning overall for you

- It's a startup, be ready to adapt / hustle / be a jack of all trades (Some other ancillary work) & master of one (i.e: Micro Finance / Chits)
