Manager - Merger & Acquisition - CA

Responsible for evaluating organization's opportunities for Mergers & Acquisitions . Responsible for the M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration. Coordinate for conducting research and analysis required to assess strategic impact and risk.

Reporting into Head : M&A

Roles and Responsibilities will include :

- Devise M&A strategies, identify sectors and companies that might be viable business targets

- Establish connect with Investment bankers, liaison with them and explore potential business targets

- Conduct financial due diligences and carry out financial modelling that support the assessment of M&A opportunities

- Present findings & pitch investment opportunities at Board Meetings.

- Manage Project transactions, including negotiation of terms and fund- raising proposals.

- Liaison with Legal department, ensure all the regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered,

- Lead the transaction process from start to end, including operational due diligence, synergy review, "day-one" readiness assistance, post-merger integration.

- Building and maintaining productive relationships with target companies & related network.

- Manage cross-functional teams throughout the transaction process.

- Engage advisors and consultants when required.

Qualifications :

- MBA in Finance/CA

- Able to quickly understand the business, its key drivers and issues

- Strong competencies in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, post merger integration, as well as a strong working knowledge of accounting

- Excellent analytical skills

- Strong Team player

- 7+ years of previous relevant work experience
