- Our client is a leading organisation in the power electronics space and is one of the largest players in the Lithium Ion Battery Design and Development with its application towards the automotive electric vehicle industry
Description :
- Good Understanding of mechanical, thermal as well as electrical engineering principals as well as an experience of end to end new product development from a product concept ideation stage to launching the same to market
- Understanding of battery pack packaging as well as cooling concept
- Knowledge of mechanical pack design to address key requirements like durability and crash-worthiness
- Right sizing of battery packs to fulfil the given driving range targets as well as deliver power
- Experience of battery pack design with different cell chemistries (Cylindrical/Pouch/Prismatic)
Profile :
- Proficiency in detail design- Preparation and release of all 3D data, drawings, specifications
- Experience in vendor qualification and selection process
- Expertise in design for the following production processes: injection moulding (plastics), extrusion (plastic or aluminium), metal stamping, die castings, sheet metal and weldments
