Positioning - The first step is to figure out the value prop of the series to platforms and/or tv channels. How do we position the show? What is the message? What makes this show unique? How will the sales team pitch the show?
What is interesting about the show that will get ott platforms or tv channels interested? Marketing Materials/Assets - What marketing materials are needed to pitch the show? Teasers, Trailers, Posters, Pitch presentations, info doc, etc. Everything that allows the sales teams to present a show effectively to buyers. This also includes everything which will be used in PR, Social media, etc.
Advertising/Marketing :
- Creating and executing the marketing plan for the show.
- PR. Good PR contributes almost 40-50% impact on a show's marketing cycle
- Advertising on B2B trade publications
- Email marketing
- Company Brand Marketing
- Brand building of the company is an essential aspect of the business.
- Top-of-the-mind recall as a distributor/content supplier is critical. Like any business category, being the top brand in a niche is the key strategy. Again PR followed by executives interviews and features in trade publications reinforce these
