An extremely large and highly respected American MNC has entrusted us with the selection of a Innovation Manager for their Indian subsidiary.
Job Purpose:
Securing future revenue streams for the company by delivering an innovation pipeline of high quality mixes that generate consumer demand on existing and new brands. Deliver breakthrough product concepts, packs, brand iconography and 360 Launch Campaign Idea that is approved at Navigate 3 by being rooted in deep consumer & commercial insight, category, brand and business strategy.
Qualifications: MBA from a top notch institute
Experience :
- Minimum 4-6 years- experience in Sales & Marketing in Premium Consumer Goods with at least 3 years- experience in marketing & innovation
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Innovation Head in developing the new product & service innovation pipeline strategy that leverages the brand equity in order to access new consumer occasions and deliver incremental Net Sales & EBIT on each of these trademarks
- Stays in tune with cutting edge futuristic developments in the world of packaging design, advertising and technology to imbibe learnings into innovation projects
- Works closely with external research, design & innovation agencies and internal Technical Teams and manages productivity within the approved budgets within each stage of the Gate process.
- Constantly finds ways to improve & maximize project profitability & minimize innovation development costs (design, research, visual iconography, 360o Launch Campaign Idea)
- Works closely with the brand building, customer marketing & finance team to develop the Pricing, COGS, Gross Margin Scope & Targets to develop new concepts, packs, etc.
- Works closely with research agencies to ensure smooth planning and execution, so that all concepts, packing, pricing decisions on innovation projects are taken appropriately.
- Manages all Innovation Development project timelines. This involves managing a cross-functional team of research, design, development, pack development, manufacturing, procurement, customer marketing & finance specialists. Also manages the governance of each project and drives timely decision making to ensure adherence to project objectives
- Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work by competent authority
