Manager - Marketing - FMCG (7-15 yrs)
Marketing Manager
- Our Client an upcoming name in the FMCG industry
- Take overall responsibility of Marketing
- Sound knowledge of Marketing processes, including e-commerce
- Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
- Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
- Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives
- Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to "take action"
- Align the company around the brand's direction, choices, and tactics
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
- Devise innovative growth strategies
- Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
- Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities
- Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
- Strategize, plan and execute marketing plans effectively to gain market share.
- Lead the strategy and execution of the value-added product portfolio which should aim to be at 25-40% of overall business in 2+ years
Experience, Education & Competencies :
- 7+ years of experience
- An MBA from a well-regarded Institute/Univ. with experience in FMCG, Beverages, Food Processing Industries (Preferably from the nonfood industry)
- Experience of Digital Marketing, product design/costing/margins/PR/Digital marketing
- Looking for someone with a desire to make a mark, build a business, and elevate business to 2-3x levels soon ; operating in a startup mode
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing demands
- Must have good IT skills with more than working knowledge of ERP software, Excel, PPT, data analysis, etc.
