Marketing Manager
Position : Marketing Manager - FMCG
Mandatory requirement : MBA full time course
Key Responsibilities :
- Designing Product, Pricing and Promotion strategy.
- Deep understanding of India FMCG industry preferably food industry experience in Traditional & Digital Marketing, and ability to translate data into strategic insights will be the key drivers for a great head start.
- Support creation of portfolio, and associated pricing and promotion strategy to drive distribution and penetration.
- Identifies and addresses key business issues for the portfolio by analyzing a wide range of internal & external data and incorporating input from key stakeholders.
- Determines relevant market research opportunities to enhance consumer understanding and competitive impact.
- Ensures development of holistic, effective multi-year marketing plans.
- Responsibility for overall Brand performance, working in collaboration with India Market Manager, Regional Finance and Distributor partners to ensure delivery of brand goals.
- Leads creation of Digital Marketing promotion strategy and engage with internal & external stake holders to execute the marketing plan, driving growth of Brands on eCommerce platforms.
- Leads implementation & execution of in-year marketing plans, working with key agencies to ensure best in class delivery
- Delivers innovation & portfolio changes, media & communications planning and any brand led activations
- Ensures ongoing tracking of performance, taking responsibility to uncover insights and optimize in-year plans
- Manages trade marketing budget as relevant- controls expenditure, analyses variances and initiates corrective actions where required.
- Takes leadership in engaging with Distributor Teams and their Leadership
Experience required :
- Experience with Grocery/Confectionary/Chocolate/Food category will be preferred
- Must have academic and experiential skill set in Traditional Marketing & Digital Marketing
- Proven ability to successfully utilize all elements of the marketing mix to drive the business.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills ; able to use various data sources to analyze and optimize plans
- Experience with budget planning and management.
- Excellent commercial, analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confident, proactive with drive for results and highly motivated
- High level of initiative, able to drive forward projects independently
- A high level of creativity and passion
