Manager - Marketing & Communications - Government & Public Sector Service (3-6 yrs)

The role is responsible for executing key activities for the sectors across Brand, Marketing & Communication. Working closely with the Leader & COO, Sector Marketing Leader for developing and executing the Marketing and Communications Strategy which supports the overall go-to-market approach and priorities.

The objective is to create a distinctive market position for government and public sector services and its sub-sectors, highlight impact in the sector through case-studies and open and maintain an ongoing dialogue with key buyers of sector services solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- Building the brand:

Understand the strategy, focus solutions and accounts, achievements or successes and growth targets, to develop appropriate marketing strategies and opportunities.

- Marketing activation:

Identify, evaluate and implement marketing opportunities for Government and public sector services and its key sub-sectors, within overall plan and budget, across the full marketing mix including PR, sponsorships, hosted events, external events and speaking engagements, collaterals, etc. This includes marketing for knowledge reports, surveys etc.; development and deployment of case-studies, leadership positioning and other outreach to be planned in line with policy announcements.

- SignPost Newsletter:

Lead the development and deployment of Government and public sector services India Signpost Newsletter and other sector newsletters to clients and internal audience.This includes ideation, content creation and curation, and overall marketing for effective deployment with external and internal stakeholders.

- Internal Communications:

Develop and deploy internal communications on wins and Newsletters for Leadership messages.

- Website

Responsible for content on the website with regard Government and public sector services in India; ensuring it is current and updated.

- Social Media:

Explore and implement social media ideas for Government and public sector services Leaders, working closely with the BMC Social Media team.

- Media and PR: Liase with Media houses to secure visibility in print, electronic media for India Government and public sector services.

Desired Profile:

- A strong executive presence, ability to influence and develop trusted business relationships with senior leadership.

- Demonstrate experience in PR and media relations across business and general interest publications, with the ability to engage them without external agency support.

- Strong content development skills for internal communications.

- An understanding of business and commercial acumen with regards to partnership with industry associations etc.
