Manager - Marketing Analytics - IT (4-15 yrs)

Key responsibilities

- Leverage data to understand our global business in depth by using advanced analytical tools to interpret data, identify trends, and translate analyses into recommendations to improve effectiveness and support business objectives

- Build insights & optimizations into regular reports, present analysis to internal teams and stakeholders

- Generate insights by digging into anomalies & changes in behavior to understand what may be causing this outcome v. simply stating the outcome

- Recommend optimizations aligned to insights but understanding performance & opportunities to influence future performance

- Create presentations, graphs, dashboards, etc. to display findings and results utilizing Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.

- Proactively monitor the business and report key insights on the business

- Build relationships and collaborate with team members, business leaders, and other MINDBODY internal clients to help solve organizational challenges

- Develop and maintain accurate tracking, capturing and reporting of key data and business metrics

- Identify appropriate datasets to be able to support analytics with the understanding and ability to conduct data extraction

- Consult with management to understand current and future business goals and strategies, and ensure that high-visibility reporting and analysis is aligned

- Create structure around providing data and insights, apply project management skills, develop and stick to deadlines

Support ad-hoc reporting requests by:

- Understanding client business question & identifying which data can help answer this question

- Sourcing that data & applying necessary transformations to make data presentable

- Adding insights to completed report that answer client business question & recommendation optimizations where applicable

- Sharing data requirements with automation team if request couldn- t be filled by existing infrastructure

Desired Skills:

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Analytics and minimum 2+ year experience in handling a team 

- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. 

- Advanced Excel skills, and very good knowledge of Tableau 

- MS SQL and/or Access knowledge preferred 

- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required 

- Demonstrated internal consulting, client management, and project management skills 

- Must be business-centric, data-oriented, analytically minded and results-driven 

- Demonstrates curiosity about what drives business trends and customer behaviors 

- Aptitude for numbers and curiosity about information and data 

- Ability to present data in a clean, concise visual and written manner 

- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy 

- Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines 

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
