Market Activation Manager - Mumbai - FMCG/Consumer Goods background

We are currently looking for a Market Activation Manager for one of the topmost packaged consumer goods Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based at Mumbai.

Purpose of role :

The Marketing activation manager will work closely with the Brand manager and Product Manager in the marketing team to develop the activation plan for the portfolio in India. The role will lead execution of marketing programs in India to support the delivery of volume, turnover, gross margin and market share targets.

1. Key Results/ Accountabilities expected from role

Leading the execution and deployment of activation programs. Contribute to activation planning & implementation in country

The role will include

1) Execute key Activation programs for specific market segments.

- Identify key touch points & devise customer engagement programs to communicate brand stories

- Identify key market for activation in coordination with Brand Manager & Sales team

- Devise activation programs customized to the Target group

- Work with the agencies to plan detailed activation modules including key location route map, resource planning, tracking & monitoring mechanism, brand engagement programs,brand visibility elements

2) Execute key Activation programs for Agri/Rural segment

- Work closely with sales team, Brand manager & agencies to target key Agri/Rural geographies for rolling out Agri activation programs

- Creating programs to maximize consumer engagement & deliver Premium Brand

2. Experience at each touch point i.e. Village, Mandi, Key Agri exhibitions/Mela etc.

- Work with the agency to plan detailed activation modules including key location routemap, resource planning, tracking & monitoring mechanism, brand engagement programs,brand visibility elements

3) Ensuring Safe & Compliant on ground activations

4) Ensuring full compliance to NPR process in agency selection

5) Work closely with Brand Team, Marketing operations, Sales team to design right mix of activation model & rolling out at the right time ( especially considering the seasonality of the category)

6) Accountable for the direct ASP budget utilization for on ground

7) Accountable for delivering on activation KPIs

8) Tracking & monitoring the activation performance & creating visibility in larger organisation through publishing periodic activation dashboards

9) Build annual activation calendar & track the roll out as per agreed timelines

10) Procurement & management of gifts & collaterals for On ground activations

Experience & Expertise (mandatory & desired)

- 2 to 3 years of sales and marketing experience-2016/ 2017/ 2018 Batches will fit.

- Experience of working in complex and challenging global organisations

- Basic marketing and project management skills

- Ability to successfully build enduring and productive relationships with colleagues from a broad range of business disciplines

- Strong communication and presentation skills

University Graduate (Preferred BE/B.Tech) with an MBA/ PGDM from a premier Bschool. Experience of 2-3 years in managing sales through distributors, NFW handling, Sales Promotion & Business Development, third party people management and Training & development of people.

Job Location : Mumbai

Salary : Best among the industry (Could Range around Rs.22.0-26.0 LPA)
