Manufacturing Excellence : Performance Improvement : Big 4

Job role : An Operational Excellence Manager would be responsible for delivering business transformation and/or business improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma techniques for internal or external clients. The person will probably lead a team of other Analysts and / or Consultants on engagements with clients to discuss and deliver EY's Point of view and offerings under the Supply Chain Manufacturing.

- Delivery of OpEx projects within the divisional portfolio on time, to scope and within budget while achieving tangible outcomes and help deliver 8 to 10 X ROI on the budget

- Develop, execute and maintain project work plan and budget for assigned teams

- Collaborate with other BU's / Peer experts /Global teams to maximize benefit realization

- Proactively identify roadblocks and suggest alternative in the execution of engagement

- Liaise with client teams within India and across other EY Supply Chain practice to support in their Business Development and Delivery of Operational Excellence projects

- Liaising with and advising clients across multiple industries at a mid management level for large multi location global organizations

- Ensure lean & six sigma methodology, tools, technologies and thinking is embedded in this program

- Organizing and delivering Training/ workshops for client employees in Lean Six Sigma methodologies

- Contribute to building the knowledge base of Supply Chain Operational Excellence through Credentials, Case Studies, PoVs and Asset

- Identifying opportunities to deliver service line's Lean Six Sigma based continuous improvement offerings

- Contribute to building the knowledge base of Supply Chain Operational Excellence through Credentials, Case Studies, PoVs and Asset

Skills Required :

- Engineer or Post graduate in Sciences or statistics

- Post graduate degree in Management -preferred

- Lean Six Sigma MBB/BB trained (Black Belt certification - preferred)

- Excellent problem framing and problem solving skills

- Knowledge of use/development of digital platform/application(s) on the shop-floor preferred

- Atleast 4 years in lean, six sigma, process excellence, business process mapping, continuous improvement, etc.

- Knowledge of atleast one of the following tools: Any six sigma or statistical analysis tool such as Minitab; any Process mapping tool such as Aris, SigmaXL, Sigmaflow.

- Work experience of working in Manufacturing environment either through consulting or industry

- Work experience in atleast one of the following Industry domains: Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products and Retail, Metals and Mining, Automobiles etc.

- Must have 4 years of experience writing and delivering presentations for executives and Senior Managers in Power Point

- Must have 4 years of experience managing staff on projects and providing direction to team members

- Requires travel up to 100% to serve client needs
