Manager - Manufacturing Analytics - Consulting Firm

- Drive analytics led transformation in manufacturing & plant operations, Product Development (R&D) and Finance functions. Own engagement management, stakeholder management, requirements, gathering, solutioning and project management.

- Work closely with business analytics head, delivery team (data scientists) and cross functional teams across business and IT to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions

- Create analytics and strategic roadmaps for the functions for enabling data driven transformation

- Drive Data quality and enrichment projects to create analytics backbone

- Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights & apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance

- Use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest area and method of improving operations.

'- Drive manufacturing intelligence/smart factory solutions backed business impact by supporting in decision making areas such as OEE & Factory Productivity, Real-time Equipment & Process Monitor, Real-time Quality Monitor, Root Cause Analyses, Intelligent model-based statistical process control, Predictive and preventative equipment maintenance, Process optimization, Real-time standard operating procedure (SOP) optimization, Six Sigma initiatives etc. Analyze financial impacts to provide recommendations.

- Establish strong benefit measurement methodologies to understand business impact of strategic and transformation initiatives

- Identify data platforms to create analytics data backbone, conduct vendor and analytic platforms assessment for transformation initiatives

- Drive quality deployment of spend analytics capabilities at businesses.

- Control internal/external information sources for business analysis.

- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing intelligence, data analysis, advanced analytics & smart factory solutioning and analytics engagement management; industry experience is a plus

- Excellent knowledge of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive techniques (optimization) in analytics

- Possess good analytics knowledge in smart factory solutions

- Strong consulting, stakeholder management & benefits measurement experience

- Good knowledge of automotive or manufacutring industry will be a Big Plus

- Knowledge of Excel, R/Python and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Qliksense/ Tableau)

- Knowledge of advanced analytics, AI, ML methodologies/solutions

- Knowledge of factory sensor data and analytics using platforms such as SAS, Alteryx, Tibco, G2 etc.
