Position: Manager - Managed Services Operations (Firewall)

Experience: 7-9 yrs

JD :

- Hands on experience in the detailed design, deployment and troubleshooting of - Checkpoint and Fortinet NGFW, Radware DDoS, Symantec Web & Mail Security, Radware WAF, DNS security, rule/policy management

- Responsible for Incident Validation, Incident Analysis, Solution Recommendation, Escalation resolution, Tool admin, Maintain Knowledge base, Escalation point for device issue resolution, Patch implementation, Rule base Management, General SOC Administration, Scheduling/Performing VA/PT

- Troubleshooting of an incident within IT Security incident response teams of SOC.

- Apply investigation techniques to document root cause and impact of detected computer security incidents.

- Performs or assists with IT security assessments or audits of internal and external networks and systems under the direction of the IT Security management. Document findings in written reports with recommendations for remediation.

- Assists with the development and documentation of an overall IT Security architecture to assure confidentiality, integrity and availability of company IT assets.

- Maintains awareness of new and emerging cyber-attack threats with potential to harm company systems and networks. Devises and implements countermeasures to mitigate potential security threats.

- Assists with the development and maintenance of IT security measurement and reporting systems to aid in monitoring effectiveness of IT Security programs.

- Responsible for the development, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions related to IT Security.

- Develops and maintains good communications and working relationships with teams and external clients.

Level Descriptor -

- BE/B.Tech/MCA with minimum 7-9 years of experience in the field of IT Security

- Strong work experience on products - Firewall- Checkpoint & Fortigate,WAF,DDOS, Secure Mail gateway, Secure Web gateway, DNS Security, Encrypted Traffic Management, Firewall policy Management

- Professional certification in CISSP/CISA/CISM/or Any SIEM Technical certification

- Ability to adapt and follow the processes and guidelines

- Possess an impeccable work ethic and a high degree of integrity

- Good Analytical & Problem Solving skills

- Able to communicate with technical staff/management

- Flexible to work in shifts

- Willingness to learn & contribute as a senior team member towards assigned goals ensuring customer satisfaction
