Manager - Maintenance
The Assembly Shop Maintenance Manager is responsible for Installation, commissioning, routine Predictive, preventive, Planned and breakdown maintenance of equipment's. Plan for capital requirements for Assembly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Make TPM PM Pillar work orders plan as per equipment available in assembly lines.
2. Daily check PM plan Vs actual and make necessary arrangements to achieve 100% PM adherence.
3. Track critical spares and open points from PM requirement and track timely closure of open items.
4. Release PM Adherence weekly report along with phenomena wise occurrences.
5. Track FI (Focused Improvement) projects for top 5 phenomena's on all assembly lines.
6. Track 5S audit in his area and close open points timely
7. Develop maintenance team for zero downtime concept, make plan for every personnel skill development.
8. Develop maintenance dexterity to train temp force and provide area for trails to trained team members.
9. Track repair cell on periodically basis to repair removed spares and make provisions to make spares in-house.
10. Make plan to reduce repair and maintenance cost, by improving performance or keeping same performance.
11. Regular, department, and company meetings, (Current affairs, Quality, Weekend planning, etc)
12. Ensure new parts get ordered or returned unused part back to the correct stock location
13. Prepare lessons learnt in form of SOC and HTAA and share back same to RFQ to make provision for new cells.
14. Track TPM implementation drive on assembly floor flawlessly
15. Plan action item closure for EHS, OSHAS, and near miss issues.
As required from time to time, provides Department support for :
16. Control plans, drawings, and design concepts;
17. Establishing Statement-of-Work (SOW);
18. Interviews and hires qualified employees for the Facilities Maintenance Department.
19. Maintain maintenance Quality standards and preventative/ predictive maintenance program for the Assembly shop to insure compliance with IATF16949 & ISO14001 Requirements
20. Supervise and maintain safety standards of equipment and work area.
21. Hold regular meetings with team members so they know what is expected of them.
22. Review on Countermeasures of the Breakdown on Daily basis
23. Review on Countermeasures of the Safety Related Issues on Daily basis
24. Review on Planned Maintenance System & Monitoring
25. Review Documentation on daily basis - BD Log / Why-Why Analysis / History Card / PM Schedule Updation / MSES / IATF16949 / ISO 14001 / OSHAS 18000 / etc.
26. Promote Kaizen / Continuous Improvement / Suggestion / QC from technicians
27. SAP Implementation & Adherence
28. Adherence to Legal & Statutory Compliance
29. Implement 5S
30. New Project / Expansion - Coordination with Customer / Suppliers
31. Implement Magna Charter
32. Support Maintenance Activity during Sundays / Holidays / Emergencies
33. Support Maintenance Activity during after office hours in case of requirement / Emergencies
34. Subordinates development through Training
35. Sub-Contractor Follow ups
36. Spares Management - Spares Cost Reduction
37. Monthly Report Preparation / Presentation
38. Reporting KPI Data
39. Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
40. Any other work assigned by management from time to time.
