Role & Responsibilities

- Working in our multi-disciplined teams, you will apply your talents to a wide variety of complex, demanding and high profile projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients on integrations or separations (and carve outs) and planning Day 1 Activities to manage a seamless business transition through the transaction stages

- Extensive interaction with senior client representatives (CXO level) and project management, including direct follow-ups  with clients and third-parties appropriately to achieve desired objectives within a defined timeline

- CFO support services like reviewing and streamlining i) Finance and Accounting functions, ii) Delegation of Authority, iii) compliance & governance related processes etc,

- Advising on working capital optimization opportunities including building cash flow forecasting models,

- Reviewing clients business plans, budgets and suggesting improvement opportunities including building bottoms up financial models / business projections under different scenarios

- Review of Control and monitoring mechanisms; setting up MIS, SoPs, performing gap analysis etc establishing & tracking critical KPIs periodically

- Conducts analytical modeling to guide fact-based decisions on business plans and strategy

- Confident speaker and presenter (can communicate with personnel at all levels) 

- Management of and contribution to the development of junior staff 

- Establishing credibility with clients/targets as a representative of Deal Advisory team  

- Maintaining business contacts (i.e. it is our expectation that associates will make a positive commitment to maintaining contact with people they meet on transactions, who may become important providers of work in the future) 

- To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development activities.

- To contribute to the effective working of the team and development of team morale 

- To prepare first draft engagement letters, demonstrating technical/risk management awareness

The Individual

- Specific exposure to M&A and/or turn around experience

- Have a strong understanding of the deal environment and associated commercial considerations

- Have led strategic project management engagements

- Have strong analytical skills and good verbal and written communication

- Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills, issue identification/prioritization/ resolution and report writing skills

- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Have the ability to work under pressure stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours

- Be willing to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time

- Have strong soft skills such as; inter personal skills, team skills, communication skills both verbal and written

Qualification

Be a qualified CA / MBA from a reputed B-School
