Manager - Logistics - Retail

Position: Manager-Logistics (Leading Retail Company)

Role:

- Will play a key role in logistics and transportation in the Retail Company

- Will oversee logistics and transportation, especially for Food, Fresh, Chilled Products, Staples, FMCG etc. categories

- Will be responsible for ensuring constructive relationships with logistics service providers

- Identifies cost saving opportunities and develops operational plans for implementation

- Obtains and verifies transport rates from logistics service providers to determine optimum market rates

- Supervise use of route optimisation/transport management applications to ensure optimisation of costs and schedules

Experience:

- Preferably an MBA

- 6-11 yrs of experience

- Should have experience in Logistics and Transportation in a Logistics Service Provider or Retail Company

- Should have handled logistics for Food and FMCG goods
