Manager - Logistics - Manufacturing

This position is for HQ for leading the team of Logistics professionals engaged in supporting the transportation of goods across various global geographies where Customers and Suppliers of the company are located. Should be able to coordinate Third Party Logistics.

- Designing a global supply chain to support the growth of the organization.

- Contracting with various service providers for domestic and international shipping & transportation and other related services.

- Creating trackers to build a transparency into the supply chain so that all stakeholders are updated on the status of various shipments moving around.

- Build efficiency into Container / Truck utilization and monitor total cost of shipping

- Support project and sales team members in quick estimations of the logistics costs for programs under discussions.

- Manage the overall cost of packaging and packaging and help design the most optimized packing to have lower cost with safe & damage free transportation of goods.

- Supervise coach and train the executions team for logistics located at different manufacturing locations and offices.

- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

- Comply with the laws and regulations.

- Analyze from the logistics point of view the best place to manufacture and ship various products of the organization for optimized logistics cost including impact of import duties and shipping time.

- Proficient in MS Office packages.
