Manager - Legal - Retail (7-10 yrs)
Statutory
Compliance:
(i) Ensuring Compliance with Labour Laws, Environment, Health & Safety Laws by guiding on Compliance and conducting periodical audits at Factories, Warehouses, and Offices of the Company.
(ii) Conducting periodical workshops to educate the concerned HR on Labour Laws, Environment, Health & Safety Laws
(iii) Advising the senior management on the Labour issues.
(iv) Liasoning with Labour & other statutory authorities
(v) Risk Management and Risk reporting periodically
2) Litigation Management:
(i) Civil and Criminal Litigations Viz.,Cheque cases, Recovery suits, Injunctions suits, Declaration suits, Consumer cases etc
(ii) IPR Enforcement - Issuing cease and desist notice against infringing parties and counterfeiters and filing damages suit against infringers
3) Drafting Agreements and Contracts :
(i) Lease or Leave & License Deeds/Agreements for
Offices/Warehouses/Factories/Retail stores
(ii) Service Agreements with Vendors
(iii) Job work & FOB Agreements
(iv) CSR MOU- s
(v) Warehousing and Logistics Agreements
(vi) Factory construction agreements
(vii) Annual sourcing supply agreements
(viii) Distribution and Franchisee agreements
(ix) Celebrity contracts
(x) IPR Licensing agreements
(v) Advising the stakeholders on the risk elements in the contract and ensure
That risks are adequately insured
(vi) Sale Deeds
(vii) Any and all other contracts pertaining to Factories, Warehouses & Office
