Manager - Legal - Retail (2-4 yrs)

Manager Legal

- Legal administration, contracts, drafting agreements like Development, Sale, Lease, Leave & License, Service contracts, Domain Server Legal Rights etc. Understanding of Statutory/Regulatory Compliance Management

- Support leasing/Marketing/center operations on legal & regulatory matters, drive compliance with relevant legal norms

- Draft all contracts & agreements & ensure safe custody of legal documents

- Part of the front end team for negotiations with contractor/vendor, get involved in resolution of any disputes/litigations

- Devise proactive measures to mitigate legal risks, provide legal advice for policy formulation, install legal frame & implement it

- Timely submission of documents to stakeholders/regulatory authorities; resolution of any legal issue or escalation

- Maintain a strong & consistent legal compliance record as per statutory/ regulatory norms & contract terms, thereby invoking no penalty clauses

- Collate all signed LOIs & get clause-by-clause approval on deviations to be allowed in the final agreement

- Registration of final agreement document as per statutory guidelines

- Effective litigation management - identify, appoint & manage external litigation partners, file cases & monitor their progress; timely updates to leadership

- Ensure safe custody of all original documents
