Manager - Legal - Real Estate (6-12 yrs)

Our client is well known organisation of repute. They are in the field of real Estate. Doing reasonably well even in this market.

Looking for a Manager Legal : Looking for candidates only from Chennai or who has worked in Chennai

- Candidate with minimum 6 to 12 years of experience working in Real estate industry

- Need to provide accurate advice based on the requirements of the organization. Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for business. Advise management concerning business transactions, claim liability, the advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.

- Documentation is mandatory for any department, especially (LEGAL & CONTRACTS), in the organization. Need to preserve all the documents within the department, courts records, etc. Need to concentrate on LEGAL RESEARCH/CITATIONS, etc.

- Look closely into every transaction; identify risk prone areas and mitigating every possible risk by designing processes that would address potentially risky environments.

- Conciliate strained customer / vendor relationships and negotiate for a non litigating positive outcome.

- In a compelling litigating situation, identifying & deploying the best possible

Required Candidate profile :

Language Proficiency : Must have TAMIL / ENGLISH (Good command over English)Nice to have Hindi / Telugu / any other languages

Expected Capabilities : 


- Demonstrated capability in identifying risk prone areas and pro-actively advising the management to avoid such transactions.

- Hands-on experience in drafting fool-proof contracts for protecting the interests of the management

- A stint in litigation / practice would be an advantage.

- Strong domain knowledge with updated case laws coupled with a good level of people skill, to manage conciliation process with strained relationships - customers/vendors and other stake holders, would be an essential trait.

- Good amount of connect with the legal community and Government machineries to protect the interest of the organization in a compelling litigate situations
