Manager - Legal - Mutual Funds (5-10 yrs)
- Drafting of product documents such as Scheme Information Document, Statement of Additional information etc.
- Notice and Addendum: Drafting Notice and Addendum for various scheme in future and keep tracker of the same
- Agreements Vetting: Review / Vetting of agreements related to the business (HR related agreement, Engagement letter, Distribution agreement, brokers, Vendor agreement, Share purchase agreement, On-line channel partner, various service level agreements)
- Outsourcing guideline: to ensure that outsourcing agreement has relevant clauses
- Agreements with quasi-judicial regulators: Vetting of agreements with various quasi regulators such as NSE, BSE, CCIL, NSDL and CDSL etc
- Coordination with Legal Law Firms for various matters
- IPR: Intellectual Properties Rights (IPR) registrations and related work
- Disclaimers: Drafting / vetting of various legal disclosures / disclaimers
- POA/ NDA: Drafting of Power of Attorney / Non-Disclosure Agreement / Investment Advisory agreement
- Investor Complaints: Resolving critical investors complaints (nomination, transmission, transfer etc.)
- Research on Companies Act and Legal topics: (interpretations of laws / statutes) (e.g. such as Auditors appointment, managerial remuneration, electronic mode option to be given to Board for attending meeting, etc.)
