Role : Manager - Legal (Litigation & Non Litigation)

Location : Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Primary Role

- Drafting and vetting legal contracts, agreements, including those relating to lease, leave and license, sale/purchase, non-disclosure agreements, vendor/service contracts, and other legal documents.

- Practical knowledge of real estate laws and Trademark will be an added advantage

- Working knowledge of litigation is a must

- Managing Trademark and copyrights applications and matters

- Managing legal notices, reply and other correspondences

- Preparing synopsis of the litigation matter and maintain and update records of court cases, liase, instruct and supervise external attorneys

- Maintaining various MIS for assignment handled, Contract renewal, custody of contracts/original documents

- Give advice on applicable laws, rules, regulations

- Working knowledge of Company Law will be added advantage though no mandatory

2. Secondary Role

- Research on case laws, legal issues around business

- Study of various rules, regulations pertaining to business

- Data maintenance - both Physical and electronic

- Assist in Company Secretarial / Compliance work/ in consultation with consultant
