Legal Manager for Housing Finance arm of a Bank Client is a well known Pvt sector bank &amp; is rated highly among its peer group. For its Affordable Housing Segment; it is looking for Legal Managers Role Specs : - Scrutiny of loan documents, deeds &amp; giving title opinions. - Expertise in drafting various agreements including Builder Agreements, finance agreements, business tie ups, Lease agreements, MOUs, Balance Transfer agreements etc. and vet / amend the same periodically depending on business exigencies. - Initiate Legal action against recovery including SARFAESI action, issue legal notices, Sec.138 NI Act cases, Criminal complaints, conduct Lok Adalat etc., against the defaulting customers. - Defending cases against Bank in the court including appearing for cases, coordinating with advocates on various cases Consolidate and sending Reports on the above activities to Top Management on regular intervals. Candidate specs : - Must be in a similar role with Banks, Housing Finance Companies [HFCs] - Expertise knowledge in Legal Appraisals of individual properties and developer projects - vetting title documents &amp; revenue records and undertaking searches for arriving at an opinion of marketability of the title. - Having practical experience in handling recovery of delinquent portfolio and timely initiation of SARFAESI actions.
