Position Summary:


- Responsible for ensuring TSPL is abreast of applicable data Principles and securing the personal and confidential data of the company through the processes, policies, and Contracts. Also, Oversee and monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations of India.

Job description -Manager

- Manage and improve data privacy policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure the ongoing improvement and maintenance of privacy in line with applicable data privacy and protection standards regulations.

- Define and maintain an updated strategy to diagnose potential risks, evaluate the existing data protection framework, identify areas of non or partial compliance, rectifying issues by acting on missed opportunities.

- Develop, supervise, and improve all data privacy measures and controls that are in place within the company.

- Good exposure on end-to-end contract management like drafting, reviewing, updating the contract along with negotiation. Review contracts and strengthen the provisions on data privacy.

- Interpret, communicate, and implement new regulatory and legislature requirements.

- Assistance in creating Training material for all relevant partners and ensuring training to all relevant stakeholders.

- Serve as the point of contact between the company, data protection authorities, and any other claimants, responding to all types of claims and its affiliates may receive.

- Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization, providing expert advice and educating employees on important data compliance requirements

- Identify and execute mitigation actions to minimize identified risks related to data protection regulations.

- Design and run an incidence response plan in the event of an unauthorized disclosure of customer and employee data as well as confidential information. Recommend preventive and corrective action plans for the gaps

- Devise training plans and provide data compliance and protection advice and support for members of staff.

- Proactively conduct Privacy Matrix Audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues, maintaining records of all data processing activities (ROPA) carried out by the company.

- MIS to be maintained for all pending assessments, non-applicable compliances and non-complied compliances.
