Manager - Legal - Data Center/IT

We are Looking for Legal Manager for one of the International Company based in Mumbai.

Job Description:

- To support the legal team for all the legal work.

- Legal work includes procurement contracts, commercial contracts, NDA- s, RFPs - drafting, vetting, negotiation and finalization. Liasoning with personnel within the organization and law Firms outside the organization.

MAIN KRA's

A. Contracts & related documentation for Commercial contracting/Procurement Contracting/RFP's/Non-Disclosure Agreement/Incidental Contracting

1. Post the inputs received by the Law Firm on the differences brought out by them, the candidate shall discuss the same with the Legal Counsel, for further action.

2. Then the candidate shall share the respective clauses with the functional heads for getting their confirmation(s) / modification(s) pertaining to the clause. For example - Credit Team, Insurance, Taxes, etc.

3. The candidate along with the Legal Counsel will participate in the calls with the respective Functions (i.e. Sales Team, procurement team and customers). The intent of participation in the call is to discuss and resolve the differences in the clauses.

4. In case of escalation, the candidate in discussion with the Legal Counsel will draft the escalation note and share it with the Legal Counsel for further action.

5. The candidate in discussion with the Legal Counsel shall liase with the Functional Heads for obtaining the approvals, as required.

6. Execution of the contracts on the stamp paper, affixing of stamps and obtaining the signatures of the authorised signatory of the Company.

B. Compliance :

Understand, execute and assimilate the compliance ecosystem in the Company, report lapses and deviation with a sharp eye towards the rectification of the same.

C. Data Center related Documentation :

Should be able to contribute in data center acquisition and related activities. Should be able to co-ordinate with law firm, other agencies and drive the activities accordingly.

D. All the work which are related to legal department and supporting the projects of Legal Department.
