Manager- Legal - Corporate Contracts - Manufacturing - LLB (8-12 yrs)
Competencies, Experience & Soft skills:
- A Law graduate with 8-10 years of PQE in large organization or reputed law firm;
- Should have strong experience in drafting and vetting of Contractual documents and have handled commercial and contractual litigations;
- Having knowledge of business laws, contract Act, Arbitration Act and other relevant and applicable laws in Corporate;
- Good Communication Skills, Result Oriented, Leadership Skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated business environment;
- Should have legal acumen and understanding of law;
KRA
- Quality and comprehensive risk assessment, identification and mitigation through Contracts;
- In-house drafting, vetting and effective management of various commercial, business and corporate Agreements, Contracts, documents of company and other group companies within agreed timeline;
- Contractual negotiation with internal and external stakeholders;
- Regular review of existing Agreements, benchmarking with industry and creating standard templates of various business contracts in Domestic and International business;
- Effective Implementation and Management of Contracts on Digital Platform, imparting regular training to the users;
- Conducting legal session for business teams on contractual risks and effective management with legal perspective;
- Providing other allied auxiliary contractual legal support and advisory services to all departments across the Group Companies;
- Advice management on various critical legal issues and obtain expert opinions from external sources, whenever necessary;
- Provide review or advice from strategic perspective to ensure business decisions are taken in well informed manner;
- Keep fully informed on all legislation affecting the organization's operations and of all new developments in corporate legal matters, & keep all levels of management informed of applicable new laws;
- Develop and mentor a professionally competent team;
- Prepare and control department budget to support systematically planned activities and assure optimum deployment of resources within approved budget;
