Manager - Legal

Need LLB with 10-15 yrs of exp for a large Indian bank. The company is headquartered in Mumbai. Looking for a legal professional to be based at Mumbai office.

- Manage legal & Compliance ops.

- Prepare/review the drafts of project documents (concession agreements, contract, O&M contracts and debt financing agreements), to achieve the desired risk allocation position.

- Support the senior management in negotiation, execution and closing of all legal documents

- Coordinate with external agencies on legal aspects of due diligence, bid preparation etc.

- Work with teams to ensure timely compliance with all conditions precedent and other contractual obligations

- Support the management in responding to various client requirements, ensuring contractual, financial and reputational position is fully protected

- Support senior management on various project related legal matters on an ongoing basis

- Should have experience handling the legal function of a large set up independently.

- Have exposure to litigation.

- Experience in contract drafting and execution.

- Handling regulatory affairs.

- Experience leading a team
