Responsibilities:

- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and review a diverse range of agreements, both domestic and international.

- Manage agreements independently from inception to completion.

- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in laws affecting the education sector, assess their applicability, and advise management on regulatory compliance.

- Policy Drafting: Create and draft company policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

- Compliance Checklists: Develop compliance checklists and conduct audits of relevant teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

- Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure smooth communication and compliance.

- Team Mentoring: Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

- Pressure Management: Effectively work under pressure and adhere to service level agreements.

Skills:

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and convey complex information clearly.

- Legal Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law, real estate law, and employment law.

- Stakeholder Communication: Effective at explaining complex legal information to stakeholders with varied expertise.

- Regulated Sector Experience: Prior experience working in a regulated sector is preferred.

- Writing Skills: Strong persuasive writing skills and the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
