Designation : Manager - Learning & Development

Reporting to : Associate Vice-President - HR

Salary Range : 12.00 - 14.00 Lakhs ( CTC )

Working Place : Visakhapatnam


- Identifying training needs in taking consensus of reporting managers and performance appraisals

- Preparing the draft annual calendar and shall be reviewed by AVP - HR with approval of CEO

- Releasing the calendar and implement as per schedule

- Coordinating the CGMP, SHE training programs in consultation with respective departments and conducting the employee development training as per schedule.

- Designing and developing customized programs for specific requirement if any

- External programmes organizing ( in-house) within the budget sanctioned

- Sponsoring employees to external trainings and its process

- Coordinating and facilitating all the departments training programmes

- Fulfilling the training needs of the contractual employees

- Encouraging and ensuring participation in training programmes

- Coordinating the training logistics with the HR and Admin function

- Supporting development plans of individuals

- Driving elearning initiatives across the organization or other sort of tools as an alternative learning channel

- Identifying and collaborating the trainers and meeting the training needs of the organization

- Meeting the annual targeted training hours of employees

- Maintaining the training records as per the Employee training SOP

- Effectiveness of trainings to be evaluated with appropriate methods of evaluation

- Validated Learning Management System (VLMS) to be implemented

- Content management of VLMS to maintain

- First line person for facing customer audits and regulatory audits like USFDA, EUGMP etc.


- Qualified MBA with 10 to 12 years of experience

- SAP knowledge is must.

- Good communication and presentation skills,

- Excellent Communication in English

- Interpersonal and co-ordination skills

- Effective meetings organisation

- Responsiveness

- Solution oriented, Learning ability
