Job Description :

Design, Delivery & Roll-out of Offerings :

1. Research & Benchmarking available offerings and best practices (external and internal) for prioritized capability building needs

2. Completing groundwork for needs identification, prioritization & validation for the Academies and providing inputs for creation of Academy Roadmaps.

3. Work with Program Anchors / Course Leads to develop learning objectives and course curriculum and content preferably in a blended format, using principles of instructional design including the evaluation mechanism. Support presentation of the course design and curriculum to the Academy for its validation. End to end ownership of program management, development of curriculum for offerings based on Instructional Design methodology, driving employee driven offerings, enabling internal faculty development for the Academy

4. Based on prioritized capability building needs of each academy, in addition to content creation as outlined above, curate and make available, content from internal and external sources. Innovate, explore, experiment with new learning delivery mechanisms and channels such as eLearning, MOOCs, webinars, gamification, speed modules, etc. for respective academies

5. Program Manager for rolling out Group Wide offerings including programs, webinars, eLearning, leader-speak series, etc.

6. Measure the impact of each program against the agreed criteria through Kirkpatrick Model for the Academy Scorecard

7. Develop appropriate communication regarding Academy's programs / milestones to be disseminated group wide and ensuring program buy-in and nominations

8. Contribute to the ideation of newer approaches to learning and generating innovative ideas for learning content, delivery and acceleration for respective academy

9. Reach out to L&D SPOCs for nominations and other L&D inputs e.g. cost centers, participant feedback etc.

Academy Meeting Management :

1. Ensure alignment of calendars of Academy members for the Academy meetings

2. Support discussion leads in preparing presentations for Academy meetings

3. Meeting Logistics management and Preparation of minutes of meetings

Visibility of Offerings on LMS :

Managing the Learning Management System and Workplace (by Facebook) Communities related to the Academy; ensure all academy offerings are uploaded accurately and in advance for each academy

Academy Expenses and Compliance :

1. Manage the Academy expenses including Program Costing and apportioning across sectors

2. Maintain Costing Sheet for each program and ensure accurate and timely debits of participation costs

3. Compliance & Reporting on statutory compliance including Related Party Transactions, Expense provisioning, Contract & NDA updating etc.

4. Ensure completion and filing of Contracts and Agreements with Vendors, Knowledge Partners and Service Providers"

MIS :

- Maintain complete MIS and YTD figures related to all academies of MLU, for all programs, for quarterly reviews and annual year-end reviews.

Supplier capability building :

- Support the Sr. General Manager 


- Capability Building (Group HR), in Supplier Capability Building initiatives and program.


- Other MLU-related and Group HR related initiatives that may be assigned from time to time.

Experience :


- Minimum 2-3 years of post MBA experience in HR / L&D preferably from the manufacturing industry

Functional skills required to execute the role :


- Good understanding of instructional design principles

- Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain departments

- Conceptual clarity & strong foundation in all aspects of HR with special emphasis on L&D

- Mastery of MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
