Manager/Lead Manager - Data Analytics/SAS Analytics & Reporting

Job Description:

Analytics- Risk team is responsible for developing integrated risk strategies, providing business inferences, supporting the modelling \ forecasting \ provisioning needs and management information reporting.

Job Accountability and Objectives:

- Good understanding of data, data base structures and architecture. Thorough knowledge in data querying languages. Good in data querying from various systems, its manipulations and arrangement of data creation of data marts/data models. Experience in data exploratory kind of assignments in banking sector.

- Provide support and maintenance to existing MIS reports and design new reports based on partners requirement. Production of reports and distribute in accurate and timely manner. Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.

- Provide recommendations to update current reporting process to improve efficiency and consistency. Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis.

- Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to leadership team. Generate both periodic and ad hoc requests as needed. Understand customer problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.

- Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.

- Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues. Provide customer support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution.

- Client facing and capable of liaison and customer management. Responsible for delivery of regular analytical output to support the various lines of business

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the regional team.

Skills/Experience Required:

- Bachelors /Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical area preferred.

- A minimum of 6 to 14 years professional experience performing duties as mentioned in the Essential Functions section above.

- Experience working with Base SAS, SQL, Excel, VBA, MS Office and BI Tools preferred.

- Basic understanding of Data warehouse concepts. Good understanding of SQL, to write efficient queries to generate ad-hoc reports and deep dive data analysis.

- Excellent analytical skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills
