Manager/Lead Consultant - Actuarial - Financial Risk Management - Life Insurance (10-18 yrs)
Manager-Actuarial in individual life will lead the team of actuarial analysts. This person ensures that the team has the right skill sets, their work aligns with the organizational priorities, quality and timely delivery as well as management related activities for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Senior role in the Financial Risk Management area who will work in the overall framework of Enterprise Risk Management
- The person will be leading the FRM team in Pune and will be involved in working in close coordination with the FRM team in US, on financial risks space (credit, market and investment risk).
- Skill set required: The person should be proficient in risk modelling, preferably financial risks using R, SAS or MATLAB.
- The role would require validation of existing models or building models from scratch in financial risk area.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: FRM, CFA (at least level 2) or person having experience in actuarial space can apply for this position.
- Competencies required: Inquisitive, ability to influence and communicate effectively, leadership and mentoring skill so as to groom junior members in the team.
