Education : Bachelor's Degree in IT Or Computer Science (Full Time)

Experience : 10-12 years of experience in software development

CTC : Standard Industry Hike

Working Conditions : 12 noon - 9 PM, 5 days

Communication : Excellent

Technical Skills : CORE Java, OOPs, SQL, Enterprise Java (JEE), J2EE (Spring, Hibernate), XML, JDBC, Web services, Maven

One or more source code repository like SVN, GIT, TFS etc.

Strong on Web Services and UML design patterns.

Strong understanding and working knowledge of complex database.

Proven diagnostic, troubleshooting, and service restoration skills.

Processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Level Management

Other Skills: Good to have certification on java frameworks and/or DB

General Summary

This is expert position which will provide technical leadership to a team of engineers. The candidate is responsible for designing comprehensive solutions; solve complex business problems and then directing the implementation of these solutions through a team of developers. The candidate would help team take decisions about technology, designs and solutions, and continuously make progress.

Primary responsibilities include:

Design and develop technical solutions to maintain or enhance existing software in accordance with departmental development standards meeting business needs.

Production support and operations of Applications (Distributed, Middleware, Databases across all tiers)

Drive decision making on technology, designs, weighing pros and cons of multiple options.

Driving migration of applications to newer or better software and taking ownership of enforcement on team.

Partners with engineering teams and technical product managers to support a continuously evolving platform. Work in close conjunction with the NoC, SD, Database teams to drive end to end solutions.

Uses technical acumen to provide alternatives, ask probing questions and support the team in technical issue resolution

Supports definition of Service Strategy and guides the transformation of the company into a truly Agile, DevOps organization with Continuous Delivery Capability.

Coordinates communications, escalates and facilitates resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the Infrastructure and Operations.
