Manager IT Security & Network Operation at Nigeria (West Africa)

Position Summary/ Job Purpose :

- Candidate should support and optimize group core/edge network/VOIP systems and also support Top senior user's system issues.

- Address all kind of network issues, monitor network Security and performance.

Qualification (Essential) : BE/BTech in computer since / BCA/MCA/ BSc-IT/MSc-IT + CEH and CCNA/CCNP certification.

Qualification (Desired) : CISSP, CompTIA Security+ Base-Level Certification, SANS, CISM

Experience (if any) : 7 to 15 years of relevant experience

Required Skills : Core network security and VOIP experience

Job Description :

A. Installing, administering and troubleshooting network security solutions.

B. Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats, and developing recovery plans.

C. Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software, Email security.

D. Installing, administering and troubleshooting Core network LAN, WAN, VPN, Routing, switching.

E. Configuring security systems, analysing security requirements, and recommending improvements.

F. Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behaviour.

G. Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.

H. Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defences are present for each network resource.

I. Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.

J. Training staff to understand and use security protocols.

K. Working knowledge on Wireshark and other network analysing/monitoring tool.

L. Monitor Network bandwidth utilization and optimize for various applications/services performance
