Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Manage local IT infrastructure and coordinate with global IS project teams

- Support and understand intake process, standards and project deliverables

- Managing teams of analysts, administrators, engineers and vendors to execute and complete projects

- Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans

- Execute best practices for efficient utilization of resources and process improvement

- Participate in staffing and making plans for new employees

- Participate in visionary leadership, integration and automation plans

Management Responsibilities

- Guide, Coach, Lead and Manage a team of employees

- Provide direct reports with formal and informal performance feedback

- Foster a diverse workplace for all participants to contribute to their full potential

The Successful Applicant

- Must Have: Extensive experience with commercial and open source monitoring tools

- Degree in Computer Science, Economics or Similar

- 5-8 years experience as SME for IT Infra technologies and 3-5 years- experience in leading technical teams

- Well versed with end to end Software Development Life cycle and experience in life sciences industry

- Infrastructure operations including database, storage and server administration handling

- Managing a global application eco-system and managing people in remote and global locations

- Positive Attitude, Motivator, Innovator, Creative Thinker with excellent interpersonal skills including oral, written and listening skills

- Open to travel when required
