Manager - IT Audit - Life Insurance

We are looking for Manager- IT audit with a life insurance company in Gurgaon.

Impact on the Business / Function :

- Conduct Audit in accordance with audit methodology.

- Prepare proper documentation of audit and its findings.

- Execution and closure of IT audits.

- Complete execution of the allocated assignments.

- Getting the work reviewed.

- Preparation of report along with recommendations.

- Proper documentations of audit & its findings in a timely manner.

- Performance of audit in accordance with internal methodology.

Customers / Stakeholders :

- Completion of audits as per Audit Plan

- Agreed action plan with process owners

- Adherence to audit time frame, as agreed with process owners

- Completion of audits as per agreed and approved audit plan

- Robust fieldwork appropriately documented with clear segregation of issues to be reported and issues resolved.

- Timely completion of field work of audit assignment

- All matters & action plans as reported in audit report agreed with the process owners

Leadership & Teamwork :

- Strong communication and working relationship with all the stakeholders.

- Close audit observation - Ensure open and two way communication with all the stakeholders

- Demonstration of company's values in all behaviors

- Assisting other team members / seniors in other assignments from time to time

Operational Effectiveness & Control :

- Execution of the audits within defined timelines

- Documentation of work papers as per defined methodology

- Tracking of the open audit actionable and follow up to ensure timely closure

- Stay abridged with the latest developments in the IT space - Completion of all mandatory trainings

- Internal efficiency and effectiveness

- Execute the audits within budgeted staff & time

- Ensure satisfactory assistance to external audits.

Major Challenges :

- Timely completion of audit

- Meeting expectations of all stakeholders without compromising the independence / quality of work.

- Do work independently and support seniors

Role Context :

- A highly demanding customer environment.

- Will be responsible for preparation of complete audit programs.

- Should have experience of IT audits in a systematic manner with simultaneous documentation
