TITLE: IPS Business Partner

DEPARTMENT : IPS Operations

BUSINESS UNIT : IPS

LOCATION : Gurgaon

REPORTING TO: Senior Manager

POSITION GOALS

The IPS Business Partner will support the IPS Operations team through managing & coaching the JBS IPS team and providing critical input into strategic financial & operational business decisions for five service lines. The IPS Business Partner will contribute financial, technical & operational expertise and a business perspective to influence strategy and business processes. The Partner's focus will include business case and decision support, project support, and challenging/advocating as appropriate.

- Ability to think strategically, act tactically, command credibility and influence

- Must be able to be nimble and follow a process that may change daily

- Experience working across multiple time zones & cultures with flexibility to take calls out of typical business hours

- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

- Strong partnership and collaborative style with excellent English written, verbal and presentation skills

- Advance knowledge of Excel, relational databases, BI visualization tools and data analytics

- Experience managing resources with less experience

- A proactive, critical thinker, who prioritizes decision support activities, initiates and drives productivity and continuous improvement

- High energy self-starter and proactive leader that seeks to continually improve business processes

- Commitment to customer service with a strong sense of ownership for projects and results

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor Degree in finance, management, or business analytics, MBA preferred

- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant financial / operational and analytical experience; preferably in the real estate industry

- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal) and experience in working with American based companies spanning across multiple time zones

- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access (or similar relational database tool) and system tools for budget preparation, consolidation and financial reporting

- Knowledge of Tableau is desired
