Manager - Investment Banking/Venture Capital/Private Equity (3-5 yrs)
Required Experience:
- Sourcing & Execution of Corporate Advisory & Investment Banking Business
- Work on the transaction across stages in Investment Banking, Structured Finance, M&A, Banking, Private Equity/ Venture Capital, Startup Advisory, Corporate Finance, Corporate Advisory from sourcing, execution, investor reach out, due diligence and closure
- Actively participated in identifying, source and reach out to the potential leads
- Preparation and finalization of confidential information memorandum, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations
- Design and build a business plan and financial model. Work on the valuation using multiple methodologies including DCF and relative valuation for on-going transactions
- Attend and participate in client meetings and contribute to building and maintaining client relationships
- Actively participate in identifying and reaching out to new investor base
- Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, investors, and other professional advisors
- Work with closely with other team members in the coordination of due diligence, data room management, and other information exchanged as per investors requirements
Candidate Profile:
- Education: MBA Finance / CFA / CA
- 3-5 years Experience (client-facing desired) in Investment Banking M&A, Banking, Private Equity/ Venture Capital, Startup Advisory, Corporate Finance
- Good relationships with investors, including HNIs, Family Offices, and Institutional Investors
- Strong client management skills
- Ability to understand the dynamics of various sectors, including value chain, strategy, and key performance indicators
- Strong skills in presentations, report writing, financial analysis, and data management
- Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- A critical thinker who can quickly evaluate and analyze companies and financial information
- Ability to conduct comprehensive research, database searches and synthesize results
- Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
