Manager - Inventory Management - FMCG (5-20 yrs)
Inventory Manager
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manages team of inventory controllers
- Plan> Develop> Implement> Refine> Manage processes to optimize inventory control across all FC
- Oversees qualitative & quantitative inventory movements across all warehouses, PAN India
- Controlling and verifying the inventory levels by conducting regular physical audits and reconciling with system data. Lead investigations to determine root cause and action items associated with variances.
- Processing returned goods and ensuring all return processes are correctly and efficiently followed
- Overseeing safeguarding of warehouse stocks by establishing procedures and protocols for proper storage and fulfillment practices
- Develop and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement of inventory controls.
- Maintaining warehouse's layout and design in a way that will ensure maximum space utilization
- Liaise with Operations and Finance functions to ensure organization has an effective process to manage inventory and reduce variances.
- Managing fulfillment staff: recruit, train, assign, monitor task & appraise job results
