Manager - Internal Compliance - Oil & Gas/Energy Sector (6-8 yrs)
- Lead and drive the internal corporate governance policy, code of conduct and mechanism for its implementation.
- Lead and remediate the gaps in internal governance policies, report on internal compliance health of the Company.
- Work closely with the senior management and human resources leaders to evaluate and respond to suspected compliance violation for enforcement, disclosure, and remedial action protocols.
- Closely partner with HR/Company leaders to design and implement internal governance policies ranging from Ethics, Integrity, Fair Employment Practices, Ombudsman, Non-
Solicitation Policies, Vendor Relations Representing the Company with External Stakeholders, Business Courtesy Policies, Compliance with Anti Bribery laws, Government relations etc.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g.,Legal, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Employee Services, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
- Identify requirements and help drive proactive compliance training solutions in association with other cross functional teams to both employees of the Company and its strategic vendors.
- Provide reports on a regular interval, and as directed or requested, to keep the Compliance Review Board (CRB) and senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
Pre-requisites for an Ideal Candidate :
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- A primary degree in Management / Law from a University or Institute of repute with minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience as an internal legal counsel in an MNC Business Environment.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Labour & Corporate law and procedures.
