Manager - Internal Communication - Big4 (8-12 yrs)

Job Opening with one of Big 4- Manager- Internal Communication- Gurgaon

The Role: 

- We are now recruiting for Senior Consultant and Managers who bring a strong track record gained from communications and engagement roles in industry and/or specialist communications agencies.

- We need communications specialists who understand clients- needs, can deliver high impact communications and build our service offerings across the communications and engagement spectrum. These Communications Practitioners will also need to be able to connect effectively across our global PAS network to maximise our global knowledge and experience and supporting clients to build their communications strategies.

- The key responsibilities of the role fall into 3 areas: core consulting and programme delivery, practice and people management and business growth:

Core consulting and programme delivery

- Shape and deliver programmes and consulting engagements in areas such as communications strategy, employee engagement, content creation and stakeholder management

- Design and deliver complex, large scale communications programmes in a broad range of industry sectors

- Implement leading communications and engagement practices

- Manage programme delivery, budget, profitability and scope

- Recognise and mange risks and issues

- Influence and interface with key stakeholders and proactively manage client stakeholders to exceed expectations

- Ability to anticipate and assimilate client requirements, win their trust and build enduring relationships to develop their business

- Be able to analyse complex problems and deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions

- Develop and shape communications engagements with our industry account teams and other practice areas

- Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement

People responsibilities

- Build high performing teams - take ownership for initiatives to promote inclusive collaborative working within client engagements and within the wider PAS community

- Support change initiatives and embed them within the team

- Encourage development of team members through formal and informal coaching

- Act as a team player, with an ability to quickly integrate with new teams

Business growth and development

- Contribute to business development and client pursuit efforts by leading on the preparation of proposals and delivering presentations to potential clients, whilst leading the delivery of subsequent work won

- Maintain strong market knowledge particularly for digital and other innovative tools and methods; play an active role into bringing these into the broader business change proposition

- Generate profitable revenue by developing lasting relationships with clients through business development and account management leadership

- Contribute to delivery of wider strategic objectives across PAS and the wider UK& Ireland business as well as supporting and participating in initiatives for growth of the firm as a whole

Experience: 

- Highly experienced communications professional with industry and/or agency communications experience delivering communications strategy, channels, senior stakeholder engagement in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment

- Operational communications experience within a large, complex, multinational organisation is desirable, but not essential

- No requirement for sector specialisation but strong insight into one or more of the following is desirable: Technology, Government & Public Sector, Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities, Consumer Products & Industrial Products, Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, Healthcare

- Qualifications such as CIPR, CEB/Melcrum or other professional Communications/Public Relations/Internal Communications qualifications would be of interest but are not essential

Additional skills requirements

- Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise

- Demonstrate ability to address varied interests of clients and stakeholders

- Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement

- Ability to analyse stakeholder interests and concerns, understanding stakeholder positions and priorities and the reasons behind any differences of opinion or conflict

- Adopting a practical approach to problem-solving, focusing on the root causes of challenges to deliver insightful and sustainable solutions

- Being self-aware and flexible in own approach when dealing with different styles and backgrounds

- Capable of contributing to a collaborative and cohesive team environment, demonstrating commitment and enthusiasm for tackling challenges

- Structure and manage work streams and activities which meet client expectations and mitigate any risks or issues

- Focus on achieving project / programme goals and objectives

- Ability to prioritize the needs of multiple internal and external stakeholders

- Be up to date with key technical and functional skills, and with industry, business and leadership skills and knowledge - share this expertise with others

- Have experience of full project lifecycle from concept through to implementation

- Have a primary degree (2.1) or above - from a leading university preferred.
