We are looking for Manager - Internal Audit for a client with a global presence based at Gurgaon.
Job Location: Gurgaon
Education: CA /CS, BEFORE 2014 batch
Exp: Minimum 4 years of experience in Life Insurance or Healthcare insurance
Reporting to: AVP - Internal Audit
Department: Internal Audit
Skills: Should have sound knowledge of IRDA regulations and guidelines issued by the IRDA from time to time
Industry Vertical: Life Insurance or Healthcare insurance
Working Timings: 9 am onwards, 5 days working
Main Priorities
1. Identify and plan key risk areas and conduct risk-based audits to ensure adherence to 'Audit Plan' for the Internal Audits assigned as per timelines and defined process.
2. Prepare risk assessments and perform audit procedures/testing through various sampling techniques.
3. Prepare and maintain documentation of the audit work/results in accordance with audit workflow system (PENTANA) and the IIA standards.
4. Provide the periodic update on the progress of the audit to Head, Audit and other stakeholders/committees.
5. Discuss and form an agreement with process owner on control gaps and opportunities for improvement and provide specific and provide the practical recommendation for effective closure of the issues and mitigation of risks.
6. Prepare and coordinate with various stakeholders to collate required information for Audit committee and management packs.
7. Plan, execute, and coordinate auditing of the product set up in policy administration system including other support systems.
a) Review of File and Use vis--vis Policy Contract and product pieces of literature.
b) Review Business requirement document and develop multiple scenarios for performing UAT testing.
c) Perform value testing in a real-time environment.
8. Identify opportunity for automation of key tests in the existing audits and get the same automated
9. A follow-up to determine the adequacy of corrective actions - Track and validate the status of issues highlighted.
10. Perform and present special studies and projects as may be assigned.
Skills :
- Ability to understand IT System functionalities
- Sound knowledge of MS-Office 2007
- Should have strong written and verbal communication skills
