About Our Client:

Our client is one of the leading international asset management firms globally with a strong focus on real estate & infrastructure ventures. They are looking for someone to join their internal audit team, which will be responsible for providing internal audit services to their various businesses.

Job Description:

Reporting into the Director, Audit, you will be responsible for:

- Development and execution of audit programs, risk matrices, time budgets for audit engagements considering the audit scope and coverage

- Planning and execution of the annual SOX compliance program including liaising with management and external auditors, integrating SOX efforts with the Internal Audit function and reporting results to senior management

- Maintain the quality of audit engagements and standards in line with the documented audit procedures (included in the Audit Manual) and the IIA Standards

- Research and review of current and new legislation, policies and procedures to remain up-to-date with IFRS, and other international accounting standards, and relevant regulations for businesses being audited

- Identification of causes of deficient conditions and provision of constructive, economical and practical recommendations

- Establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships with the Clients/Auditees

The Successful Applicant:

- Should be a Chartered Accountant/ CIA with 6-8 years of total audit experience, with at least 3 years of team management experience

- Should have working knowledge of auditing techniques, internal controls and financial reporting

 Should have:

1. Experience with Big 4 in audits of real estate/infrastructure firms or

2. Experience as part of the audit teams of real estate/infrastructure companies or

3. Experience in auditing real estate/infrastructure-focussed PE funds

- Should have solid understanding of the International Professional Practices Framework for Internal Auditing (including the Code of Ethics)

- Should possess superior communication & inter-personal skills

- Should be willing to travel

- Candidates having experience in international audit assignments across geographies will be preferred.
