Manager - Inter-Company Accounting (10-15 yrs)
- Monitoring the processing of Inter-company invoice, including processing of monthly compensation, overhead and service fees invoices from affiliate offices.
- Reviewing and approving the Monthly intercompany Journals for Local Service reimbursements & Service level Agreements Invoices.
- Supervise & Review the computation of Overheads, Allocations and accruals.
- Process & review the Automated Local Service reimbursements being processed through HFM system.
- Supporting in settlements, including reconciliation of cash/bank accounts.
- Develop an understanding of the Oracle -Time & Billing system, the Oracle General Ledger/Accounts Payable and Hyperion Financial Management systems. Provide support on accounting and reporting processes that utilize these systems.
- Partner with the Analysts to understand and manage the intercompany workflow including invoice workflow management, monitoring queries, status updates, problem solving and escalation.
- Support data requests, analysis and model maintenance for models and systems used in support of different functional areas within Global Finance.
- Cross-functional analytical support across a wide range of areas including Global planning, reporting and finance operations.
Ad Hoc Support :
- Monitor & support on the preparing of budgets / planning workbooks and templates including reconciling to source documents and financial systems.
- Respond to inquiries from affiliate offices as they relate to intercompany transactions, providing technical guidance and training to support resolution by local offices.
- Identify appropriate growth opportunities for the team and play an active role in promoting the growth.
- Provide guidance to the team in their day to day activities and assist them in managing their workload by balancing demand, prioritizing and mentoring adequately.
- Ensure the teams work is completed properly and to the satisfaction of the users.
- Conduct performance reviews, determine training and development need and build development plans.
- Promote a spirit of teaming and ensure that the team is integrated into the larger global team. Mentor & assist in routine people management and administrative setup.
- Create ad hoc analyses with actual and plan data to assist function heads / local offices with decision support activities.
