Hiring Manager, Inside Sales

Position : The Manager Inside Sales will be a key member of the Business Development. He/she would assist in building the sales pipeline and contributing to the sales effort. The job involves farming, organizing and qualifying leads that will later become prospects and eventually customers.

Key responsibilities will include :

- Generate leads for life sciences platforms through various outreach strategies emails, LinkedIn, other channels and databases

- Map target account profiles, and build database of potential customers

- Experiment with email formats to create mailing list of customers

- Maintain various lists of accounts and leads, internal and from partners

- Huge focus around events to drive engagement through event platforms and outside outreach as well to setup meetings for the sales team

- Manage outreach and capture details of opportunities in the CRM (Dynamics 365)

- Evangelise the value propositions of our platforms to the target markets by developing persona-based messaging; first and second and multiple follow-up scripts

- Work collaboratively with sales, marketing and other internal stakeholders to validate targeting strategy

- Conduct effective cold call campaigns. Speak to decision makers and be comfortable handling queries. Will be the first point of contact with clients 


- Engage meaningfully, provide necessary information on our solution, and help convert the lead into a prospect.

- Open to picking up the phone and calling prospects if necessary.

- Ability to work during US/EU time zones

Basic Qualification :

Education : Bachelors degree Any (preferably marketing; economics; commerce; or business administration). MBA desired but not mandatory.

Experience : 7-10 years of total experience, with a minimum of 4 years of Inside Sales (preferably with exposure to North American and or European markets).

Desired Skills :

- A mover and a shaker highly motivated to succeed

- Fluent in written and oral communication, comfortable on calls with prospects across the globe, good at researching information online, good at understanding the basics of business in a given industry vertical

- Proven track record of working collaboratively with internal stakeholders throughout the sales-cycle

- Knowledge of Dynamics CRM is an asset

- Leadership skills; can work without supervision, initiate and follow-through on inside sales strategy plus collaborate on market research, and regional sales strategies with ease

- Understanding of the life sciences industry preferred

- Familiarity with cold calling campaigns and follow up techniques

- Perseverant, with the ability to establish 'contact' quickly

- Team working skills

- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
