Manager - Industrial Relations - Manufacturing (10-16 yrs)
- Formulate the ER strategy and architecture to ensure healthy and cordial industrial relations environment in the Organization
- Lead Plant Closures as per planned manufacturing optimization plans; Anchor seamless workforce management in the plant closure context
- Support in formulation of various organization wide ER policies in line with applicable Government guidelines and directives
- Contribute inputs on workforce deployment, rewards, performance management, training and skills enhancement to fulfill the overall productivity agenda for USL
- Design and govern the philosophy of deploying contract labour and various associated factors such as workforce ratio (FTE to Contract), periodicity of deployment and other legal considerations
- Lead Pan India ER Projects such as Time Automation
- Develop and execute statutory compliance review mechanism for the plants and monitor progress; Facilitate Field HR to implement compliance norms in partnership with vendors / service providers
- Conduct periodic compliance audit at the Units to ensure consistent implementation and take corrective action as required; Guide the Field HR Supply on amendments in labour laws and carrying out seamless changes in the processes and policies
- Provide inputs and periodically review the Employee Welfare strategy to ensure employee engagement levels and hygiene requirements
- Build out the Disha Initiative for greater workforce engagement
- Mentor Field HR on welfare matters including Transportation, Canteen, Rewards & Recognition schemes, Settlement of death claims
