Manager - Industrial Corridors Development
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work with client facing teams under the guidance of AD/ Director / Partner from KPMG
- Will be responsible for whole or parts of deliverables of projects pertaining to Industrial Parks Development, Industrial Cluster Development and Industrial Corridor Development
- Engage with clients as needed and ensure timely delivery and seamless progress of the project
- Proactively sense opportunities where Company could leverage its capabilities and expand its business footprint with new or existing clients
- Work closely and pro-actively with the leadership team to position company as a leader in the Industrial Development space - Industrial Parks Development, Industrial Cluster Development and Industrial Corridor development
- Participate in preparation of proposals and commercial bids. Participate in preparation of points of view / intellectual property for the practice.
- Effectively deliver tasks on projects as guided by the Associate Director in design, development, delivery and assistance with implementation of business advise / solutions which enable clients to achieve their business objectives and which reflect best practice
- Effectively engage client counterpart in discussions related to the tasks / project delivery and provide new perspectives / insights
- Initiate the process for specialization in any one industrial sector or solution area so as to have an independent point of view on the selected sector / solution that serves as the foundation for client service
- Network to build professional relationships within and outside the firm
- To actively engage in knowledge learning, sharing and storing
- To find avenues to learn and contribute to the firms standards of code of conduct, ethics and client satisfaction standards
- To firmly adhere to the firms standards on ethics and values
INDIVIDUAL :
- Experience of working on industrial parks development/industrial cluster development/industrial corridor development projects
- Experience in development of master plans for industrial corridor development and preliminary developing design reports for industrial nodes and industrial manufacturing clusters
- Experience in master planning and infrastructure design components of large infrastructure development projects such as townships, SEZs, industrial cities, etc.
- Expertise in financial modelling and demand forecasting of industrial growth
- Good understanding of economic principles around growth, employment generation, infrastructure development, investment attraction and skill development
- Good analytical and number crunching skills, and possess functional understanding of statistical concepts
- Technical skills to solve the problems of clients and have a complete understanding of KPMGS services
- Ability to add value in complex analysis
- The ability to grasp and understand the key issues in a case
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-groomed, polished, well versed in business etiquette to cast a good impression in interactions with senior government functionaries etc.
- Regular client interface
- Business writing and presentation skills both oral and written that help to promote clarity and present persuasive options
- Knowledge of regulatory and legal environment
- Ability to understand various industries and businesses
- Team worker along with an ability to lead teams
- Balance between strategic and operational focus
- Ability to Multi-task
QUALIFICATION :
- MBA/PGDM/PGDBM from a reputed institute - Preferred
- Masters degree in urban planning / Civil Engineering Highly Preferred
- 9 to 12 yrs. of post qualification experience
