Manager - Import & Export - FMCG/FMCD/Consumer Durable (4-7 yrs)
The Import Export Manager is responsible for the activities related to the import of any good or asset necessary for the company's operation, as well as for the export of finished products with customers and their subsidiaries.
- Establishes contact with state and private entities in order to expedite the necessary documentation for the import/export process.
- In charge of developing the most efficient logistics structure possible to distribute
- Create the right process for the the import and export operations
- Lead and develop a team of import and export coordinators who have the necessary skills for the execution of the international operations and meet the level of service expected by our internal and external customers Set and develop the operational skills of the coordinators, engage the team
- Work collaboratively with local and global procurement on new biddings to select carriers and custom brokers
- Support negotiations by clarifying needs and requirements for local and international vendors
