Manager - Human Resources - Food Manufacturing (8-12 yrs)

Overall Purpose

To be a member of Human Resources function and be responsible for executing Human Resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, organizational and performance management, learning and development, compensation, Industrial Relations and TPM.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Be responsible for looking after entire gamut of HR & IR operations at plant.

- Talent Acquisition: Skilled in identifying & hiring through various sources, handling end-to-end recruitment cycle and maintaining cordial relationship with Associates.

- On-boarding and Separations: Responsible for robust on-boarding of new joinees, probation appraisals, HR SPOC for new joinee during the probation and complete end-to-end separation process.

- Vendor Management: To manage and be responsible for all Manpower service providers, statutory consultants, and other HR related consultants.

- Payroll & Benefit: Be one-point contact for attendance, wages and related inputs, New Joinee & separation inputs for Payroll. Guide the Workmen and Staff on the Associate Benefit polices.

- HR MIS: Responsible for monthly HR and Plant Operations MIS, tracking sheets for Budget Vs Actuals, TPM monthly MIS, Monthly closing in SAP, and monthly closing for the plant.

- Annual Budgeting: Responsible for annual budgeting activity for HR, Admin and IR Operations.

- Manpower Planning for Temps.: Responsible for collecting, developing and Implementing the requirement of standard Manning for Temporary workforces at the Plant, and for any / all support in the regards.

- Union Negations and Agreements:

- Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.

- To prepare the Management Charter of Demand.

- Prepares statistical reports, using records of actions taken concerning grievances, arbitration and mediation cases, and related labor relations activities, to identify problem areas and address the same.

- To work closely with HR Head & Plant Head to increase the productivity through Collective Bargaining / Union negotiation discussion.

- Facilitate and conduct negotiations/consultations within the framework of the company's policy

- Monitor, review, and suggest interventions to optimize collective Union agreements

- To advice & suggest Management for the Union Negotiations.

- Statutory Compliance

- Monitoring and updating management on government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends in the similar industry.

- Responsible for preparing and tracking the monthly MIS for statutory compliance.

- Visit Govt. offices as courtesy visit and as and when required.

- To participate in the projects and lead assignments as assigned from time to time.

Education, Experiences and Skills

- Any Graduate / Masters from reputed institute / University

- Total Experience 8 - 10 years

- Have handled IR in a unionized environment and Exposure of wage settlement & negotiations

- Should have worked on SAP / ERP and TPM Implementation

- Fluency in English, computer literacy and good presentation skills

- Must read and write local language.

- Interpersonal, team working spirit

- Willingness to travel, and ability to work independently

- Technical computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint etc)
